sometimes a bunch appetizers are just better than a big meal. this recipe is one of my mom’s go-to’s, so she probably won’t be thrilled to see it on here! (sorry, mom!)
these salmon phyllo cups are bite size and once you pop one, you can’t stop. it’s a simple recipe that takes very little prep time. this recipe pairs creamy, salty, and crunchy for a delicious, fun size snack!
salmon phyllo cups
- 1 box pre-made phyllo cups (found in the freezer section)
- 1 package of smoked salmon, sliced into bit size pieces
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. mayo
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. chives, finely chopped
preheat the oven & cook the phyllo cups according to the directions on the box. let cool for 5 minutes.
meanwhile, combine the sour cream, mayo, lemon juice, and chives in a small bowl.
arrange the cooked phyllo cups on a platter. add a teaspoon, or small dollop of the sour cream mix into the phyllo cup and place the salmon on top. you can also do the reverse with salmon on the bottom and the mixture on top & place some chives on top.
