honey magic

i really love goat cheese. aged chevre. lavendar-infused goat cheese. anything! its such a lovable cheese!

i also love pizza. and any variation of pizza!

so, i found this recipe through tasteologie, but i wanted to simplify it a little bit. actually, to be honest, i was at the earth fare and forgot what ingredients i needed.

in my variation, i do not make my own dough cuz im lazy & love naan bread! i also just wanted something quick & foolproof. this recipe is great for fall with all the warm flavors.

here is the original recipe.

and here is mine…..

honey magic

  • 1 fresh naan bread
  • 1/2 c. your favorite goat cheese. i used lavendar-infused goat cheese.
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bunch of sage
  • 1 shallot, sliced thinly
  • S&P

preheat your oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees.

drizzle olive oil on the naan bread. place the shallot on top, followed by the goat cheese & sage. finish with S&P.

place the ‘pizza’ into the oven for 5-8 minutes or until the bread is golden brown. unless you have aged goat cheese with the rind around it, the cheese won’t melt.

take out the ‘pizza’ and drizzle with honey.
